TTK delivers turbogenerator for first 100% Croatian biomass power plant

TTK has signed a contract to supply a turbogenerator and other equipment for the first 100% Croatian power plant in coogeneration on biomass, which in town of Glina is built by a domestic investor company Šerif Ltd. Zagreb.

Steam turbine and power plant will have output of 1.2 MW electrical and 4 MW of thermal energy. Steam turbine is the first of its kind to be produced in our factory in Karlovac and is the result of years of development and design. This innovation has been recognized and rewarded with several national and international awards from innovation exhibitions.

Besides turbogenerator TTK designs and delivers other necessary equipment such as cooling and feeding pumps, condensate pumps, vacuum condenser with steam ejector, cooling tower and equipment for automatic control and monitoring.

Project completion and successful commissioning of the plant is expected in early 2015.

This project is first of its kind for TTK out of series of expected projects from field of power generation from renewable sources, such as the planned projects for HEP and private investors in Croatia and neighboring countries.
